Mrs. Callista Nance & Mr. Casey Williams
The two most influential people in my life are my maternal grandmother (Ms. Callista) and paternal grandfather (Mr. Casey). Their example and the principles they lived by serve as my example—the model I seek to follow. When deciding on what I would name my publishing company, it was a no-brainer. I wanted, and needed to honor them. So much of who I am, and how I see the world was seeded by mama, and daddy (that's what I called them).
Both were born and raised in the southeastern region of North Carolina in the early 1900s'. They are the products of a rural farming community, seeded in community. Growing up in a farming community watching my grandfather (my maternal grandfather), I was a student to the principle of seeding, nurturing, and reaping a harvest. Callista Casey Publishing operates in my grandmother and grandfather's spirit— two eternal spirits whose spirits impacted everyone they touched. We want to seed, nurture and experience the harvest of our clients' books.
